Docker - End of Life Notice

Docker Change On Dec 15th 2020, Commvault released Feature Release 11.22 which represents the third software release to support protection of Docker containers that are managed by Kubernetes. Commvault also announced deprecation of the Docker Virtual Server Agent (VSA) What changed? Commvault Simplifies Customer Upgrades With New Feature Release CadenceNews

At Commvault, we are constantly looking for ways to solve hard data management challenges in the most elegant way. In reviewing our current quarterly feature release cadence and observing customer upgrade patterns, we have found an excellent opportunity to improve on the customer experience while continuing to innovate and extend our leadership position in the industry.As some of you might recall, about three years ago we introduced “Long-Term Support” (LTS) releases for our customers who wanted to remain on a supported release for a longer period of time. This option has proven to be very popular – in fact, most of our customers are currently using LTS releases today.Therefore, beginning this year, Commvault is moving from a 3-month to a 6-month release cadence, where new software releases will become available every six months instead of every quarter.
