We are running PostgreSQL log backups every 15 minutes, daily incrementals and weekly synthetic fulls. The backups are FSBased.
The synthetic fulls take about four hours. The log backups are in the waiting state until the full backup finishes.
The customer points out that the 15 min RPO objective is not fulfilled during the 4-hour full backup runtime.
Is there any option to backup the logs during the synthetic full backup?
