Can we copy data from a bad tape to another tape in commvault? or is there a way to copy data from secondary copy tape to primary copy tape if the primary tape goes bad?

Thanks for the question and welcome to the Community!
What makes you believe a tape is bad?
Depending on the reasons or status of the tape, you may be able to copy data to another tape using Media Refresh process.
Otherwise, if the data exists in another tape copy, you may be able to use the same process to refresh the bad media with good media, using data from another good tape copy .
