The CommServe Anomaly Alert is enabled by Default. - You can find out more detail on the pre-defined alerts here: https://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v11_sp20/article?p=5199.htm#o131659

Michael
Hi
Yes, I know, thank you. The question is now, what anomaly was the reason for this alert. We do not see the reason for it in details, we only see occurrence.
Regards,
Thomas
Thanks
I suspect this will be sent due to one of the configuration conditions in the Alert.
Is there anything different about this Job (48064)? - Did it run for longer duration? or protect more/less VM’s than usual?
Do you get a link in that email alert to a WebConsole Report/Dashboard at all? - If so can you confirm what one it is please?
Best Regards,
Michael
This is showing a backup event being triggered more than it normally does. You would need to investigate the job(s) to see what happened during the backup.
For example are you running backups more frequently than usual, where there is a sudden increase in this event getting triggered?
We started seeing this alarm after installing many Commvault SQL agents and enabled scheduled transaction logs backups. Before that we only ran AUX during the day and one incremental/full per day.
Anyone have an idea how we can override this particular “alert” for when many completed jobs has been running for certain clients/groups without disabling alerts for say when many jobs has failed.
I’ll likely split this off into its own thread to better track a solution for you.

Hi Mike!
Sure no problem.
Hi guys,
I have the exact same behaviour at a customer. Transaction Logs for SQL are running scheduled every 30 minutes since a few month, no issues or increase in jobs has been noticed. There are still daily alerts about Anomaly in Occurrence.
Have you been able to find what can be causing these alerts? We cannot see anything strange and are considering excluding these SQL clients from the alert.
