Commserve Upgraded but Console not reflecting new release

I have upgraded the commvault service pack on media agent from SP 18 to SP20. it is upgraded successfully and i can see on process manager. but it is not updated on Comcell console even i have reopen console multiple times

Is possible try to restart the services on your Media Agent as that will force the communication between CV and MA again.

@Ankur Aggarwal , I split this off into a new thread to better track your resolution.

Based on what you are seeing, this tells me the binary upgrade finished but the database upgrade probably failed.

Can you take a look at the following logs?

install.log

databaseupgrade.log

updateinfo.log

How is the status on your MA looking now?

Another option if a particular client is failing to report it’s version correctly is to set an additional setting and request the client reports it’s installation status back to the Commserve on next services restart.

nAutoRegister

By setting nAutoRegister=5 on the client, next time services are restarted, the client will report back to the Commserve. The value is then reset to 0 so this action is only performed one time.
