We recently upgraded Exchange on prem and for a few reasons it is now residing on a ProxMox cluster with the iscsi luns mounted through Proxmox instead of windows for exchange. This is all hosted on our netapp cluster. I don’t think this configuration is supported for intellisnap or app aware snaps but i wanted to be sure i wasn’t missing something or maybe there is some way to leverage proxmox to get application consistent snapshots?

Believe you are correct, it does not look like it is supported, so no snapshots there.

I do not have experience with snapshots for exchange, however I do have experience with the regular archive agent (exchange mailbox agent) which works pretty good. Depending on the size of your environment, you would not need much to get that working, AND on top of that, it gives you a really nice granular recovery per mailbox.
