Filter exceptions in Windows file backup subclient not working

A Windows file backup subclientis configured:

Content: J:\

Filter: J:\Home

Filter exception: J:\Home\**\Key

Filter exception is not backuped. What could be the cause? Thank you.

Thank you for the question.

Are you attempting to have an exception for files or folders?

The exception “J:\Home\**\Key” may be viewed as a file exception.

Let’s see if this this pattern helps, adding a final backslash and double asterisk to the end:

J:\Home\**\Key\**

I think this should capture any folder called Key and it’s contents and subfolders.
