can someone give a general explanation about virtual machine backup on xen citrix?

I'm not very good with the commvault documentation.

What exactly are you looking to have clarified?  the installation?  The features?

I am generally interested in the virtual machine backup process, when a snapshot is created on xen citrix etc.,not the installation process itself…

The documentation from commvault is quite detailed but I can't find this exactly
