Hi jokidane,

Are you trying to recover the KVM Host or the VM’s?

With Virtual Server KVM Backups only the VM’s are protected from the KVM Hosts.

You can restore all the VM’s by going to Browse & Restore” > Full Virtual Machine and selecting the VM’s to restore. - Procedure documented here: Restoring Full Virtual Machines (commvault.com)

Best Regards,

Michael

Hey, @jokidane !  Thanks for the post and welcome!!

To confirm, you are backing up the KVMs using the Virtual Server Agent and want to do a restore of the entire vm?

Assuming you are using the Red Hat Virtualization, these instructions should answer your concern:

https://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v11_sp20/article?p=103935.htm
