is there any technical person in commvault available for MSP related topics and questions?
I have get the information that could be a little bit diffiicult, but for me us an MSP Partner it is a little bit difficult this answer, so may someone knows someone which is able to discuss with us some msp related points?

Damian, many thanks for your response. We are looking on MSP Reports for example, because we have a lot of problems with the company related reports at the moment and i want to know on which way another msp do the chargeback ! For example we deploy our msp environment for ms365 at the moment and we are sell this on user base but in commvault you can not run a report how many onedrive users are in the backup only for mail is it available and so on.

I’ll take a look at reporting capabilities for you, some that spring to mind initially are:
License Summary Report (as you suggest reports on user mailboxes as this is how licenses are consumed)
Commvault Cloud report License Usage
Chargeback Report, but again I’m not sure what granularity this provides for One Drive protection.

I’m still looking into reporting for you, I’m seeing the same as you, OneDrive doesn’t appear to be explicitly shown in standard reporting.

Hi Philipp
Thanks to Marek in our SE team, he has found a couple of reports that show Office 365 use and Application license consumption by user.
You can generate a report to show Office 365 users with this guide:

But this only shows the total number of Office 365 users and not granular detail about which apps.
On Commvault Cloud https://cloud.commvault.com we have Office 365 Exchange Usage report and License Summary reports:

User Licenses > Application Users subsection

i have now checked and i dont find this but we are in contact with Marek - what we need is an report which is showing the amount of users and the amount of fet for archive and backup

Hi Philipp, the 2 reports shown above are hosted on Commvault Cloud, they are not available separately.
The 2 reports listed will provide counts of users against types licenses, but for FET you will need to use License Usage, License Summary or Chargeback reports, which will show FET at a higher level by license type
If you need something more specific or customized to show particular figures, Marek and the team will be able to help with a Customization request.
