on a new site, I have deployed a commserve and 2 linux physical media agents. Media agents do not have FC or ISCSI cards. I need to use 2 VM for hot add. Can I use linux VMs are Windows ?

Hey Bloopa,
You can use linux VMs for hotadd proxies no problem. The caveat is that to do file recovery of windows VMs with live browse, you traditionally needed a windows proxy to read the NTFS volume - HOWEVER, that recently changed with feature release 24 released last month, and now Linux proxies can also browse and restore files from windows VMs.
