I have a question, can we restore the SAP HANA database that we have copied to the DC tape and then physically move this tape to DRC, restore it using the DRC media agent and the tape library in DRC?

Hello @tam

Yes it is possible, but it is not possible to move tapes between libraries without re-associating them to the destination library. Without doing this, the software will recognize the tape is in the wrong library.

Also, the LTO versions between the source and destination libraries must be compatible for the data to be read.

Thank you,
Collin

Hello @tam

This should be fine as long as you re-associate the tape to the DRC library.
