Is there a way to schedule an out of place restore (to disk) of a specific o365 teams-folder? For DR-preperation we need a weekly copy of this folder inhouse...
In commcell console we have the posibility to save restore jobs as xml-files, and start a restore in task scheduler. But for the o365 jobs i can't find a similar possibility in the webgui.

Hello Sven,

In checking - there currently isn’t a way to schedule restores in this fashion using the Teams agent as the Command Center doesn’t have options built-in for this. We can discuss this as a possible enhancement for the future.

Thank you!

Hello @Sven Roth - While we continue discussions on this internally - interested to know more about the use case for the scheduled restore with the Teams agent.

Is there a way to schedule an out of place restore (to disk) of a specific o365 teams-folder? For DR-preperation we need a weekly copy of this folder inhouse…

For the above, you mention this for DR preparation - can you elaborate on the process you are going through and what the end goal is? Commvault typically leverages AuxCopies to allow you to manage the data and store copies of it at various locations and with various different types of media - but in this case it sounds like you are looking to take the data that is stored in cloud, and replicate it using Commvault to an on-prem file location?

Can you also confirm how much data you would be looking to restore (size, IE, GB, TB?)

Any details you can provide on the use-case would be helpful !

Thank you!

Ron Potts
