Visio Stencils

Wondering if @MichaelCapon or @Stuart Painter  could make the visio stencils available via maintenance advantage or attach to this thread? 

Can the next time the stencils get updated please not have such a huge amount of white space around each stencil object.  The current ones look nice and modern, but they are super annoying! 

Can the visio be available via Commvault Store? Customers have access to that and so I`d be able to use it.

I’m also interested in this. It sounds silly, but that’s actually important, as delivering a good service means delivering good documents. Good documents, means...good graphs...so good stencils :)

@Mike Struening and I have shared this request internally. The Visio stencils are a resource one of our Sales Engineering leads created ad hoc and uploaded. We don’t have any specific plans to update them at the moment, but we’ll see if we can get a project going to do so.  In the meantime, let us know:

• if you would like access to the existing stencil templates (and you don’t have access to them in Partner Advantage). We may be able to just post them somewhere in the community or provide access to you some other way, that shouldn’t be a big deal. 
• would it be more helpful to have the icons (with reduced white space border) or the actual Visio stencils?

I guess you could say both. The stencil placeholders are all, say 100x100 in size, but the image each  inside is less than the size.

This means detailed design diagrams have overlapping icons that are difficult to group select. It also means that all Visio connecting lines get snapped to the whitespace border and not to the icon. The only way to get the lines to connect nicely is to manually override the X & Y coordinates for every line.

I agree with you 100%, @Laurent .  I’m going to reply back on that internal thread to (re-)push for something easier to acquire.
