Hello, I have some question about application class 1 lincense. I have installed around 400+ sql in commvault and if i look to my License summary then i see like 6 sql clients onder te tab Application Class 1. And that not what i want because its using client license.On the sql client i have instal only sql software and after full back i have released license for file system. I do find Mirosoft Sql server on Components in the Application Class Licenses for Application class1. But why another 395 installed sql clients are not listening in license summory onder Application class 1 ?Â

I am completed a setup of CV failover and configured Livesync. the logshipping backup was successful and replication to standby CV is also successful. Then trying to perform failover to standby CV. During CV failover process the operation is failing due to Connecting to the database failed - error returned was Login failed for user sqladmin_cv.Then I tried to reset the password of sqladmin_cv from SQL Server management studio but still failed to complete the failover due to login.Would anyone has an idea on how to fix the issue?

Hi,I had a training on ea.commvault.com now since has moved to new portal. I do not see the old trainings. I had certification pending. Mailed my concern to registrar@commvault.com but no help.Please assist.

Hello,We recently moved Commvault/Commcell to a new server (same domain) because the old one did not have enough place on it for the disks backups.We had it installed on a server named SPGEOFS01We moved it (the technician) on new server called SVGEOCVCSNow, the name on the new client still is SPGEOFS01 I want to add the old Commvault server that still exists and was wiped to host data (SPGEOFS01) But I get conflicts since the name has not changed to SVGEOCVCS everywhere and it tells me that the client already exists.Did our technician do something wrong during the switch ? How can I fix this ? He says it can be days before he finds a solution. Thank you for your help,Felix        Â
Hi,I’m trying to migrate from Schedule Policies and Storage Policies to Plans.On Schedule Policies it has been possible to request an incremental backup before or after a Synfull backup within the same schedule.Is something alike also available for Plans ?rgdsKlaus
