Hi All,

I’m wondering about how many times the job manager in Metallic will retry a job that is scheduled, if for some reason like connectivity issues to the workload present and Metallic cant effectively run the job (maybe not a good scenario, it may just failed not sure). As in how many times it will retry by default? I know there are parameters for this under the traditional Commvault platform, but haven't found it in Metallic.

Hi Mark,

you won’t find it at the settings, it should be 10 attempts. But jobs will be reattempted if backup phase was started, if there was communication issue earlier between infra <> CS then it can be marked as failed without retries.
