Hello Commvault,
Is there any option to proceed ad-hoc backup for a specific Azure VM?
When I try to do this, I see that Commvault starts a backup for all Azure VM’s that are members in the group!
So, Im looking a workaround to backup only a specific Azure VM, not all it’s group.

Hi..
This might be due to using Indexing version 1 and not version 2…. If using version 1 you can’t do this using the CS Console, but you should be able to do so if using the Command Center..

Im using v2, but when I tried to run a backup for a specific Azure VM (through Command Center) the job backed up all members of it’s group.
Please for your help!
A workaround that I thought, was to create a new VM groups, with members only the specific VMs that I want for the ad-hoc backup.
