Hi everyone,

We have Commvault version 11 sp16 running on-premisse with 150TB as backup data. We would like to move this solution to Azure.

Can anyone help me with some steps/direction how to achieve this?

Thank you.

Naveed

If you refer to deploy Commvault as BaaS;

Yes, that is also possible, you could use any of the MSP deployments as long as there are enough hardware resources available for the configuration;

Hi Javier,

Thank you for providing the documentation. Is it also possible to Commvault SaaS in Azure with this setup?

Hi @Hans Vonk Van Wijnen ,

I would first suggest to upgrade SP16 to one of the new TTS releases, ideally FR32.

Although SP16 is still supported, it will get end of life (and support) by June this year. FR32 will give you the most stability and performance of any LTS version available.

To perform the move to Azure, you will need to perform a hardware refresh, we have documentation available on this process;
