Hello Commvault engineers !

I have multiple Plans with different retentions created.

We are using a monitoring tool that catches snmp trap sent by the Commserve and generates a ticket on Snow when a backup failed.

Into this plan, sometimes we have some clients that are stopped by users and during a backup, they generate an error “Backup failed client offline”

I am looking for a solution to avoid that offline clients generate an error.

Thanks for the great question! I'm not sure if you can filter the SMTP trap on suspended by or kill by. 

You don't want to filter the trap on that error as that error could also be valid and you don't want to miss them. 

I do think the answer to this issue is changing the filters on your SMPT trap.
