If I don’t use Plans...my schedules are:
<CC_T_BT_W>
- CC = Concurrency (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
- T = Execution Time
- BT = Backup type (Full, Incr, Synt, Diff)
- W = workload that will be protected
For example:
Daily_09:00PM_Incr_Oracle-level-1
Weekly_10:00PM_Full_Documentum

If not using Plans then I try use the time as an ordering list.
So it would look like this:
17:00 - VM backup
18:00 - DB Backup
I have multiple schedules on 2 customers, so this makes it easier to track. When I disable a schedule, I prefix it with ZZZ so that it moves to the bottom of the list.
I do the same with disabled Storage Policies and Clients and Subclients.
