Hi Fellows

After reboot, installation continue but failed, because the language cannot find find the source DVD ???

If I start the installation (from program files\CommVault\installer… the only option I’ve got is “Download packages to install on a different computer”


I’ve tried to install CommCell on this computer (Win2019).

I’ve tried also to install IIS before...same

 

Any suggestion ?

Hi @jleroux ,

 

Starting the installation from boot strapper installer will  show the option to download package to install on another machine because its not identifying the existing setup.
 

Kindly download the media from an alternate server and copy to the problem machine and run setup.exe and check if there is an option resume install or resume and repair the existing instance and proceed with resume install first.

Hi @jleroux 

kindly confirm if folder 1 and folder 14 is visible under common > OEM.
if these files and folders are missing that indicates corruption with media.

The log lines themselves suggest a potentially corrupted media.

I would re-download the full install binaries again using the bootstrapper and try with that new bundle

Solution was simple...I downloaded full Media Kit with no problem. Hope this could help.

Media corruption was expected when we don't find the required files under downloaded directory.
Glad to know its resolved.
