Hello,
I want to delete a mount path after the migration.
But when I try to delete it, I get error message saying:
“Delettion is not possible. Reason - Storage has WORM data”
Any idea what should I do?

Hi,
Do you have DR Backups stored on this mount path ? if so you need to remove compliance lock from your DR SP and delete or move these jobs. If you don’t have DR jobs you much have some other SP that has compliance lock enabled.

Hello,
Thanks for reply.
We use CSRecovery tool to retore the CommServe in new machine by following hardware refresh.
After restoring, the mount path was still pointing to the drive on old machine.
But on new machine, the drive doesn’t exist anymore. That’s why I want to delete it.
HI Hanks,
Regardless of whether the path exist or not on the new environment, the warning is stating compliance lock is configured, and as such, it will not allow deletion until the feature is disabled.
Need to check the Storage Policy Copies that were using the MountPath and confirm whether WORM Copy was enabled on any of them;
The option must be disabled before the MountPath can be deleted
Hello
If You need to remove the mount path which can’t be deleted because of the storage policy is WORM. Please first check the association related to that storage (then You know which storage policy needs to be remove the lock).
When You have storage policy already, it is required to open the case to Commvault support to receive ID code for unlock the storage policy. As on the screen below:
So from MA portal You need to go to Resources→ Request Authorization Code to Disable Compliance Lock
If You need details about ID for Storage policy it can be done by API.

Michal
