If your current log backup schedule is hourly or several times a day, you can use disk caching of log backups to decrease the load on the CommServe computer. You can run log backups at a greater frequency, in a scalable manner, without adding to the workload of the CommServe computer.

The goal of the cache backups is to take the load away from the CS with extreme frequency of log backups. This means you will not see a job at all in the CS GUI for the log backup to cache. You will only see the backup of the cache its self and this is expected to run less frequent.

Can we check cache log backups details from MA or client.

You should be able to see the logs in the SQLBackup.log on the client side.

Alternatively you can also check the backup status in the SQL DB its self if you are familiar on that front.
