The Commvault Commands Manager (Instance001) service depends on the Commvault Communications Service (Instance001) service which failed to start because of the following error:
The service has not been started.

Hi,

Do you see any termination events or Application Fault/Crash in the Application Event Log on this machine?
If you check the CVD.log at the time of the issue, do you see any failures/errors at this time? - Can you share the log for review at all?

Also, could you confirm what backups are running when this issue occurs? and the current CV Software version please?

Best Regards,

Michael

Do you have any plans to update the OS of your CommServe? - That shows Windows 2008R2, which is not supported for deployments of V11 FR22: https://documentation.commvault.com/11.22/expert/2801_commserve_server_system_requirements.html

Can you check the CVD log at the time of termination and confirm if you see any errors?

The CVD log will reside in the Install Drive :\Program Files\Commvault\ContentStore\Log Files\ or if upgraded it could be in :\Program Files\CommVault\Simpana\Log Files\
