Subsequent LiveSync replicas are replicating the same amount of data as full replica

Hi All,
I had some issues with VM replication terminating with error. After marking for full sync the replication finished successfully.

Now the problem is that every following replication replicates the same amount of data as the full replication did. Because full replication takes 7 days to complete I would like to avoid deleting the target VM and configuring the replication from scratch.

What could be the reason for replicating such huge amount of data? How could it be fixed?

Regards,

Lubos

Is this VMW-VMW replication,  it should not be doing full replication.  we need to check why its doing full replication.  Unless GUID of VM changes it will not run into these issues.  can you get this issue escalated with logs.

@Lubos Dvorak , were you able to get an incident created for this issue?  If so, please share the case number with me.

Thanks!

Sharing the resolution from the case:

we temporary disabled the synth backup until it copied all the incremental backup
now after in sync we have enabled the synth full backup and jobs are in sync
