hello,

we are using commvautl to bcp some VMs but we get this erreur :

There are too many existing backup snapshots on the virtual machine. Backup snapshots are being cleaned up, however manual intervention may be requiredto ensure that all snapshots are removed. This may indicate that the storage is unable to keep up with the IO activity ofthe virtual machine during a backup.

any help please.

@helboukaoui ,

What is the Commvault version you are using please?

Can you check with your VMWare Team and confirm if the VM(s) already have Snapshots?

Best Regards,

Sebastien

Can you share this line from vsbkp.log please?

CVMWareInfo::_CleanupExpiredSnapshots()

Have you tried to manually Snapshot the VMs?

Could you please check if there are any errors in your ESXI end?

May I know if you see any error related to https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2135503

Can you sVMotion one of the VMs and try to run a Backup again please?
