Hello Commvault Community,

I hope everyone is doing well. I recently purchased a Commvault license, but unfortunately, I made a mistake when entering the serial number during the activation process. As a result, I am unable to proceed with activation because the serial number I entered does not match the one registered on the CommServer.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance on how to resolve this issue.

You will need to get a new license cut with the proper information. To do that you will need to contact your account rep.

option 9 looks like a good start under “You Need to...” :)


Hi,

I noticed that the CommServer registration number is part of the license code. I'm wondering if it's possible to update this registration number to the correct one. Would that allow the license to be applied successfully?
