In our CIFN environment, we would like to take snapvaults from our primary (snap copy), under our storage policy. WE are currently using Open Replication (not OCUM). Our initial (copy) snapshot works fine but aux copy (snapvaults) are not. Here is the message under the Progress tab when job initiates. Error: Data to Storage Policy [storage-xxx] Copy [snap_vault] may not be copied as we failed to get array controller Media Agent, make sure to set an array controller Media Agent for source Array, will be retried soon. Any ideas?

Hello Jay,

The arrays will need to be added in array management per https://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v11_sp20/article?p=33782.htm

  1. Configure the source array for replication, by adding the source array in Array Management. See Configuring the NetApp Array Using Array Management.
  2. Associate the source array with an array access node. See Configuring Array Access Nodes for a Storage Array.
  3. Configure the target array for replication, by adding the target array in Array Management. See Configuring the NetApp Array Using Array Management.

Can you confirm that the arrays are in added in the array management?

Not only you have to add the Array to the Array Management which I assume you already did, but you also have to add the Source and Destionation SVM on your snapvault copy. Did you add that as well?
