Hello everyone,

i want to ask about commvault backup, can commvault backup to disk and cloud at the same time?

Hello @Nis,

 

I suspect this may be possible with an “Inline Copy”, This option can be enabled on the Storage Policy Synchronous Copy.

There are some considerations to take into account when using this option:

  • The MediaAgent for an inline copy must be the same as the MediaAgent for the primary copy.
  • The deduplication on an Inline copy is not supported if multiplexing is enabled on the primary copy.
  • Inline copy is not supported for source-side deduplicated storage policy copies.
