Hello All,

We have configured the Aux copy with AWS cloud storage library destination, we are facing Auxcopy slowness issue only for China location. Other locations are working fine. (US & UK).

Any one facing same issue in China location…?

@Upen , can you confirm where the Media Agent is located?  Is that in China as well (and slow to the China region AWS), or is the MA in the US?

Also, can you clarify the speed in US/UK vs. China for comparison’s sake?

@Mike Struening  primary copy Media agent is in China  and secondary copy media agent in AWS Cloud.

@Upen , in general, there are often issues.

This thread here has a similar question and there’s some useful information about how to remediate:

@Upen

curious as to why you have a Media Agent within the AWS cloud (assuming an EC2 instance) as the target. You should send data directly on-premises to an S3 bucket in either the Beijing or Ningxia region. From there you can of course share the cloud library with the provisioned media agent on the EC2 instance, but it should not be the ‘target’ of your copy. Perhaps this is why you are seeing degraded performance?
