I’m currently performing backups of Azure Fileshare for a subscription using Commvault. The backup is being performed in one Azure region and customer wants to restore the Azure Fileshare to another region.  What do I need to do perform that type of restore in Commvault?

If you are restoring to a different repository, then you may need to configure that following “adding object storage repository”:

You probably need to deploy another proxy / client access node to conduct the restore local to the religion you want to restore to, rather than trying to use the same one in a different region that took the backup. Either way you are likely to incur egress charges since you are taking data from one region to another.
