Tape Library Cartrige Bad Media Write Protected

Hi there

We have Commvault 11.28.102 and have just added a tape library.

Under STORAGE\Tape I managed to add the tape, but when I go to slots I can see there that my brand new Tape is marked as Bad Media and the reason that I got is Write Protected.

Please advise.

Hi @Dar Ko 

 

There will be a button on the tape, when pressed tape becomes write proected. You can release this button and try again.
