Hello,
I’m sure it’s not possible to restore from tape in a foreign Commcell without a DR Backup applied to the new Commcell but I’m not able get this information in Commvault documentation.
I’m sure I have already seen this information. Could you help me to find the link ?

That’s correct, a tape ‘belongs’ to a CommCell and can’t be read by another.
In order to do so, you need to perform a CommCell Migration:

It’s not related to a migration but just a tape cataloging, our customer wanted to restore data from tape to a foreign Commserve, I know it’s not possible without performing a recovery of Commserv DB (DR) . But I’m searching where I have seen this information in Commvault Documentation. I have to provide an evidence to my customer.
