Hello,

 

I want to use PowerBI to retrieve data from Commvault Cloud SaaS plateform but even after reading the documentation from API portal and tried to connect to the URL with a specific user I didn’t make it work.

Does anyone already use a custom query into PowerBI to get access to Commvault platform through API ?

I don’t need help about transforming the data but just to understand how to connect to the API it seems that there is no token, I need to use a username and password to my metallic.io URL but it’s unfortunately not clear.

Please use the below DOC and select the SaaS option in the DOC. Create the QSDK token using your tenant admin ID and run the other APIs.

URL, Header and body information should be correct.

Is it correct to use the UPN as the user ?

Use the email with a base 64 encoded password and then try to create the token.

Many thanks for your help, i was misunderstanding the part related to the encoded password.

I have a report that is working now that I can use to retrieve last backup status for all my customers because we’re not MSP and have separate account for each customer. Using email report is too headache.
