Auxillary copy job failed with Error

Hi Team,

I have getting the below error while taking the backup from Disk to Tape.(Auxillary copy job failed)

Error occured while proccessing chunk [2156267] in media [V_233750], at the time of error in library [STorage Policy Name] and  mount path [[MA3] \\MOUNT PATH], for storage policy [Storage Policy Name] copy [TapeCopy Name] Media agent [MA1]: Backup job [264866]. Unable to setup the copy pipeline, Please check the connectivity between Source MA[MA1] and destination MA [MA01]

Please advice or give me any solution for the above issue

Hello @Adarsh.op 

This error indicates an issue with the Pipeline (mounting source storage resources, reading the data, transferring it over the network, compression, deduplication, encryption (if its being used), and writing the data).
The second part of the message indicates the issue may with connectivity between MA1 and MA01. If you Right Click the Job → View → Logs, CvJobReplicatorODS.log on MA1, CVD.log on MA01, and CvFwd.log on both sides, should reveal more information.

Thanks for your valuable reply,

We have 3 Media agent server are available in our infra(physical servers)

The second part of the message indicates the issue may with connectivity between MA1 and MA01 -MA1 and MA01 both are same media agent only.

While running auxillary copy jobs media agent getting stuck or hang and all the auxillary jobs getting failed, then we will reboot all the 3 media agent server and commserve server then only jobs will work.

Hello @Adarsh.op 

If the MediaAgent is freezing or locking up, I would advise to make sure you are on (at least) Service Pack 28 and are up to date on hotfixes. It would also be good to make sure the MediaAgent hardware specifications are up to requirements and that Antivirus exclusions are in place.
