Hi,

I need to bulk restore hundreds of small jobs with some kind of batch or CLI.

What do you think is the best way to achieve this?

It should be as automated as possible. There are only about 6 Windows sublients, but around 1200 jobs. Every job is from 1 single day.

Restored data should go into some kind of automatically created directory structure on a SMB share with one folder for each date.

I saw there is the button with “save as script” to get a script for a starting point. But I thought there is maybe another better solution. I saw there is also a Python SDK for Commvault.

What do you think?

 

 

Good afternoon.  This will most likely require a custom script or workflow.  I would recommend getting in touch with our Professional Services department to assist with this.
