Hello! I have been a Commvault user since 2020, and finally it was time to ask or discuss this feature.

Many times when there is an issue with a job, we see the error code xx:xxx (or similar syntax), the error code is highlighted. We can click on it, and it will do a search in the commvault knowledge base. Could be very useful. However..

I can remember maybe 2-3 times where the error code link actually showed a relevant article. 
Most times, there are no articles related to the specific code..
 

If I remove the special characters, then once in a while I will find something related to the issue, but most times it doesn’t help.

Room for improvement.

We have some exciting work going on in the background to provide elevated levels of support and self-solving using AI. Hoping we can share more on that soon.

This error in particular can have many, many solutions - which I think is perhaps the reason why there is no KB article that exists for it yet. Since this error relates to indexing, it might be worth checking out the index state report to identify any potential issues.
