Hello,

In commvault i created hypervisor with 2 nodes. But we are using more then one subscription. For each subscription do i need to creater seperate hypervisor with node, or only node on each subscription is enough?

Hello @Egor Skepko,

Thank you for reaching Commvault form,

Commvault supports cross-subscription backups

→ If the Azure subscription includes multiple regions, deploy at least one VSA proxy per region. However, cross-subscription backups are supported for access nodes/MediaAgents—that is, access nodes/MediaAgents can be hosted in different Azure subscriptions.

Refer to the following Doc System Requirements for Virtual Server Agent with Microsoft Azure

https://documentation.commvault.com/v11/expert/system_requirements_for_virtual_server_agent_with_microsoft_azure_04.html

@Hemanth

We are using one Region with multy subscription. So i created 2 vm's on one subscription and using its us access node, but i cannot discover anothert vm's from different subscriptio.

Hello @Egor Skepko , did you validated the roles and permission? As per the Doc, access nodes/MediaAgents can be hosted in different Azure subscriptions.

@Egor Skepko , there is existing form too:

It is confirmed that we can use single Proxy as long as they are in same region. Possibly the issue might be on Azure permission, kindly validate the permission, roles

Hi Egor,

The following link might be useful to you for VSA Managed Identity:
