Good day

I”m busy configuring the download center for endpoint package installs. I’ve created the repository using the Web Server options and then added the packages as required and synchronised them.

When creating a laptop user and having the invite link sent to them, the below page opens up with no packages published.

If the user navigates to the Webconsole and to the Download Centre, the packages are listed.

Ideally I’d prefer the above page to be populate, but not sure when I’m missing?

Hello @Mauro

The following steps go over how to configure the download center and the steps the end user should be following to install it.

You will note that it directs the end user to the Download Center, what reason do you want the end users to get into the Command Center to download the package?

Hi Albert

Thanks for the info. I have already gone through these steps, but the invite link takes the user to the blank screen in my screenshot.

If you browse to the Webconsole and Download Center, the packages are visible.

This would require an extra step that would need to be communicated to the end user. Essentially I’d like to just use the link in the invite mail that is auto generated.

Regards,

Mauro

Hello @Mauro

The link should lead them to the navigation panel and not directly into the Command Center according to the following doco:
https://documentation.commvault.com/2023e/expert/installing_laptop_backup_for_windows_end_users.html

If this is not what is happening in your case I would recommend a ticket to investigate why your links are navigating to the incorrect location

Kind regards
