Download Software Job not working for v11.32.43

Hi,

the Download Software Job via Commserver is not working, because of missing File for Linux

Error Code: [68:70] Description: Could not download the file [CVUpdates/11.0.0/BUILD80/SP32_5494260_R1191/linux-x86/CumulativeUpdatePacks/CU43/\linux-glibc2.3\Base32\libObjectOps.so.gz/d:\Commvault\ContentStore\SW\CVMedia\11.0.0\SP32_5494260_R1191\Unix\linux-x86\LooseUpdates\CU43\linux-glibc2.3\Base32\libObjectOps.so.gz]. Source: xxxxxxx, Process: DownloadSoftware  

anyone else having this problem?

Kindly refer below doc and verify the required URL’s are white listed and you may also re try the same download and let us know if its completed

I also got problems downloading 11.32.43

I’m running on 11.32.35

Download job gets some files and then it go in to pending. Resuming the jobs gets around another 100 files downloaded and the it goes in to pending and so on. Until 6:th time when I got 410 files and the job failes.

Though I get a slightly different error(allways the same):
Error Code: [68:70]
Description: Could not download the file [CVUpdates/11.0.0/BUILD80/SP32_5494260_R1191/WinX64/CumulativeUpdatePacks/CU43/\BinaryPayload\CVRemoteFile.dll.zip/E:\CC\CVMedia\11.0.0\SP32_5494260_R1191\Windows\BinaryPayload\LooseUpdates\CU43\BinaryPayload\CVRemoteFile.dll.zip].

Hi,

It may be a temporary issue with accessing the files from CDN. I just initiated the download from my lab and this file succeeded, but others did not. There seem to be the issue affecting linuxx-x86 architecture.

We’ll take a look at this.

But I’m not downloading any linux. I’m only downloading for Windows.
I’ve tried to remove the cache folders and rerun the job. I got to 4149 files of 9106 before the job failes.
 

The error changed for which file it can’t download:

Error Code: [68:70] Description: Could not download the file [CVUpdates/11.0.0/BUILD80/SP32_5494260_R1191/WinX64/CumulativeUpdatePacks/CU43/\BinaryPayload\ReplicationClient.dll.zip/E:\CC\CVMedia\11.0.0\SP32_5494260_R1191\Windows\BinaryPayload\LooseUpdates\CU43\BinaryPayload\ReplicationClient.dll.zip].

 

I then restarted the job and gets a few more files per try...

Basically the download works, it failed on some “OSes”

I also tried to change the key but same result I’ve had for last hour.
It stops on:
Error Code: [68:70] Description: Could not download the file [CVUpdates/11.0.0/BUILD80/SP32_5494260_R1191/WinX64/CumulativeUpdatePacks/CU43/\UpdateINI\WinX64_11.0.0B80-SP32_SP32-HotFix-7392.ini/E:\CC\CVMedia\11.0.0\SP32_5494260_R1191\Windows\BinaryPayload\LooseUpdates\CU43\UpdateINI\WinX64_11.0.0B80-SP32_SP32-HotFix-7392.ini].

Can you change the protocol from HTTP to HTTPS?

Also, have you tried download software and Copy to Cache instead?

the Software Download Protocoll is already set to HTTPS

Copy2Cache is basically working, and from my point of view that would not solve the actual problem

So can you change to HTTP and try?

If it fails again, then log a case with Support and we will check.

Morrning,
I’ve tried to download 11.32.43 today. First round hanged at 35%.
Removed the files in the cache and made a second try. It hanged on some file it could not download at around 43%. After I resumed it completed.

So I didn’t try to change to http. I was still running on https.
