Hello,

After changing the DR Backup UNC path on CommServ to a new network shared folder, the new DR backup jobs complete without issues.

Anyway on the Event Viewer there are a lot of warnings with Event code 34:59, relative to the old folders to be deleted, that cannot be accessed anymore.

The messages are like: CommServeDR: Path h<OLD_PATH>\SET_NNNN] cannot be accessed.
It may not exist. Otherwise, please check Share and Security settings.

I believe that it’s normal because I’ve also changed the user to access the new share.

These warnings are repeated every day, after the successful DR backup job.

Is there a way to avoid CommServ to try to delete all the old directories forever?

Best Regards

Lucio

Hello Lucio,

There is a Qscript that can be run to stop these events from occurring but it does require Dev to review and provide it to support.

Looking over the past cases there are all for SP24 and below so it looks like the issue may have been hot-fixed but i am unable to find a reference to it.

I recommend the following steps:

1- Upgrade the CS to the latest version ( FR28 or 30  ) and hotfix

2- If issue is still occurring you can raise a case to support and request for the following Qscript”
“qscript -f CleanupDRBackupOldEntries.sqle -i 0”

Kind regards

Albert Williams

Hello Albert,

We already are at FR28, so I believe that we require the specific hot-fix.

I’ll raise a case to solve this issue with the script.

Thanks

Best Regards
