Hello Commvault Community, 

 

Some time ago I ran a case in Commvault support for SP20, for a problem with granular data recovery for BLB. Incident 210702-97
 

The issue has been resolved with hotfix: SP20_PreRelease-4648-BIN
After upgrading the environment to SP24, the problem was noticed again when trying to granular restore for BLB.
 

Here I have a request for you to check if this fix is included in SP24 or is there a need to raise a ticket in Commvault support asking for rewriting this fix for SP24?

Hi @Kamil , I can track that down for you.

The form ID is conveniently 4648.

I can see it was added officially to 11.20.85, but it does not exist in any other Feature Release.

Open a new support case, share all of this information and request an 11.24.  I don’t want to speculate as to why it was not included (could have been intended for 11.24.0?).

As you recommended - I escalated the problem to Commvault support. (Incident 221117-213)

I'll let you know here in this thread when they figure something out :)
