Hope everyone is doing well,

Commvault has a pre-built file anomaly detection, with the monitoring of a honeypot file, I know that by default it is checked every 4 hours, and that, it is possible to tune this interval with additional settings. 

My question is, does reducing the interval have any impact on the client ? For like 30, 10,1 min …? Etc, does it consume any of the resources on the client (CPU, Memory ...).

Hi @Orazan, thanks for the reply, does the feature have any impact on client resource usage when reducing that interval ?

Lowering the interval to run more often should not cause additional Resource usage. The same link states the following:

Note: Monitoring file anomalies does not cause additional CPU load on the CommServe computer or on the client computers
