Hello community,

 

Due to a network change at commvault infrastructure level, i’ve lost connexion with some agents

 

In reality, i need to change listening interface locally

 

But how to do it?

 

Is there some cli command or tool or something to avoid complete agent reinstall to make the agent listening on another interface please?

 

Need for windows and linux operating systems please

If the client can resolve the other machines

Have you tried updating DNS or host files to get name resolution to work, or am I not understanding you properly?


Or use DIP (backup networks in CC) between those clients and the infraestructure

Dedicated Backup Network (commvault.com)

 

This will tell a group of clients which interface to use to contact the commserve.
