Only incremental backups are running

We have scheduled daily incremental and weekly Full backup which runs every Friday. However, only incremental backups are running, even on Friday incremental runs and not full. 

Even if we fire a manual Full backup or even differential, it runs only incremental backup.

 

Not able to figure out what maybe the issue. Can you help?

This was resolved after de-associating default backupset policy and associating it back. Not sure what happened but something with policies went wrong it seems.

Hi @Shahzeb !  Thanks for the post!

If I had to guess witho0ut looking, I imagine that the Full is going to run but an Incremental is still running.

Can you confirm the days and times Incs run as well as Fulls?  If you check the Job history and include aged data, do you see the Fulls trying to run but failing because another job for the subclient is running?

If so, in the CommCell Console Control Panel > Job Management > General tab, select Queue jobs if other conflicting jobs are active.

When you refer to full backups, are you referring to traditional full backups or synthetic full backups?
