Port required to open when deploying HyperscaleX into existing Commcell

 please let me know , if i am deploying HSX reference architecture to existing commcell 11.32 , then what are the ports i should open between Commserv server, HSX nodes and clients ?

Do  i only need to open ports specific to Media agents given in below link between HSX nodes , commserv server ?

apart from above ‘General commvault ports’ should i also open below HSX specific ports between HSX nodes , commserv server and clients? dont i need to open these HSX  ports if i am not enabling firewall in HSX nodes ?

Hi @Noushad ,

The ‘General commvault ports’ are enough. However you need to check the features you are going to use and enable the additional ports.

So you need to check both links you have provided above.

Below ports mentioned for HSX says, “if firewall enabled”. in that case if i am  not going to enable firewall in Nodes, then should i still need to open any ports from below link .
