Ransomware protection on VSA proxy

We have an VSA proxy which has the media agent installed, is it best practice to enable ransomware protection on the proxy. whether it affects any backups  ? but proxy is not owning any disk library.

Good morning.  As the feature you are referring to protects data on mount path, with no libraries attached there will be no value gained with this setting.

Good Morning @Orazan ! Thanks for your prompt response. As Proxy are used to hotadd backup and snapshot will be mounted on the proxies but do you still feel no use on enabling it on proxy ?
