Select each of the nodes from the screen below and click on modify 

Update the full connect string and click on ok.

Once a valid connect string is added the instance status should show as Open

You will be able to perform a backup at this point.

Please see the below my team mate had deleted the Cloud oracle node and when we are trying to do above steps mentioned by you we are getting error. Same has been attahced.

Please help how to fix the issue.

Full connect string is not update in the instance properties as recommended

Could you engage oracle DBA and update the full connect string example sys@CA0022

Do we need to ask our DBA to update the full connection string on the orace node bx3adm02vm01.

And were they need to update full connection string on the server  bx3adm02vm01 any path and the file name.

Please suggest.

As recommended earlier, connect string need to be update by selecting the RAC node click on edit and input the database user name and TNS service name to connect

The above highlited server of3dbvm01 is on Orace cloud and configured 2-3 days above before that it was not there. Can’t backup to run without of3dbvm01 server.

Also can we have Teams or Zoom Call tomorrow to check the issue and find the solution.

Is it possible for you to have remote session.

@Rahul18081 - Please follow the steps recommended which is a pre-requirement to configure a RAC DB.

If the issue still persists then  open a support ticket from ma.commvault.com or by calling the support hotline.

Add the following key with value as oracle user (example : oracle)

Restart commvault services on all the oracle nodes 

Rerun the backup
