In Commvault  Microsoft Exchange archival/cleanup, I want a confirmation if the cleanup can run for an un-archived mail.

Hi @Varun

Thanks for the question, I’m not totally clear on what you need to confirm?

When we run archive/cleanup, messages that qualify for archive/stubbing are replaced with a placeholder stub.

If that message is needed later, it is recalled from backup so the message can be viewed.

I’m not sure what you mean by “un-archived mail”.

Do you mean, once a message is recalled, does it then qualify for re-archive/stubbing at a later date?

Thanks,

Stuart
