We use another vendor to backup AD and looking into leveraging One touch for scenarios where AD is completely down. I’m aware we’d have to log in locally to the Commcell to even start. But has anyone done this with One Touch before? I’m thinking a simple Authoritative System State restore should work but just wanted to know what other folks experiences have been. Do we even need to use One Touch for this?

yes, we used that.
But use the latest FR versions, as there was a huge bug in previous version wich resulted in failure restoring system components.
